Acer C720 Chromebook (11.6-Inch, Haswell micro-architecture, 4GB) Review
Pros
- Build quality: It is made of plastic, very well built, and pretty sturdy.
- Design: Very thin, light and easy to hold.
- Boot time: Boots very quickly from sleep.
- Display: It is crisp and bright.
- Noise: Fan is very quiet.
- Ports: The laptop comes with a variety of input/output ports, much more than the HP 11, and I've found the abundance of ports to be quite useful.
- Battery life: It is great (based on a full charge and screen at 70% brightness, the battery indicator estimates 7 hours of use).
Cons
- Software: You can't download and install software the way you can in Windows.
- Trackpad: It seems to be a bit loose.
Summary
Chromebook is not for everyone, but if you get to know how it works, you will love it. And if you are used to the google environment, Acer C720 Chromebook (11.6-Inch, Haswell micro-architecture, 4GB) is the right choice.
